The bad news is, there is no known direct and permanent fix for the force lift bug yet. However, the good news is, you can get the force lift ability running again with a simple temporary fix.

According to user reports, a simple restart of the game should fix the problem. When we encountered the bug ourselves on PC, just getting back into the main menu and then back into the game resolved it for the time being. So this should work for you too!
